Mike Blakey, M.S., LPA Description: Mike attended the University of Oregon before moving to Alaska. He obtained both his B.S. in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Business and an M.S. in Human Resources Management from the University of Oregon in Eugene. He worked in both non-profit and corporate settings in a variety of human resources positions before returning to his original interest in psychology. He graduated from the University of Alaska in Anchorage with an M.S. in Clinical Psychology. At Greatland Clinical Associates he provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to adults. His main clinical interests include working with anxiety, depression, stress, interpersonal trauma, chronic pain, and concerns affecting employment. Description: Dr. Strisik has been working in the mental health field since 1981 and has been a Licensed Psychologist since 1990. He obtained his Master's degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Georgia State University. From 1990 to 2000, he worked primarily in private practice in Stockbridge Georgia where he was also active in a private psychiatric hospital and as a consultant to the county mental health center. In 1995, he founded Horizon Center. his primary work is with adults in individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. Anxiety disorders Dr. Strisik has experience treating include: phobias, general worry, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, acute stress disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder.
