Description Dr. Goldstein is the Director and supervisor of the Anxiety Disorders Training Clinic at the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Psychology. Clients with primary anxiety disorders will be seen by Masters level graduate students in clinical psychology who are closely supervised by Dr. Goldstein. Since this is a training clinic, fees are extremely low and may even be waived entirely in some cases. Nevertheless, clients can expect to get state-of-the-art cognitive-behavioral therapy from caring, knowledgeable and skillful young clinicians for a range of anxiety disorders, including phobias (e.g. fear of flying or elevators), panic, agoraphobia, social anxiety, PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder, with or without hoarding. Student clinicians often have more time available and flexible schedules that allow for in vivo work in the community and home visits when appropriate.
The University of Pennsylvania\'s clinical training program is consistently ranked as one of the top five training programs in the country. All of the trainees who staff the clinic have already had clinical experience. Interested clients should contact Dr. Goldstein, who will arrange for an intake interview on Penn's campus in West Philadelphia.
