Dr. Reading cares about his patients. We consider the whole person in the context of his or her struggles, strengths, desires, and dilemmas to formulate an individualized plan of treatment based on the person's unique symptom set, issues, and goals. New patients are usually seen within 24 hours of calling.
Dr. Reading's practice offers a treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric social workers, and licensed professional counselors practicing together in a comprehensive and integrated manner to help adults, adolescents, and children to conquer mental, emotional, behavioral, relational, addictive, and chemical illnesses and issues. Dr. Reading is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, and Texas Tech University Medical School Residency in the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He has the experience of a 20+ year, distinguished career in the practice of Medicine and Psychiatry and is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Texas Medical Branch. Additionally, he is Medical Director of New River Cove, a premier chemical dependence program in Belize, Central America.
