Description It has been said that anxiety is one of the most uncomfortable feelings a human being can experience. If you are experiencing anxiety, you may feel strong feelings to flee a situation, avoid it, or you may feel paralyzed with fear. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety and the emotional issues that often accompany anxiety. I want you to know that anxiety is very treatable, and you can feel better again.
In my practice, I have found that many individual who start experiencing anxiety have recently been through chronic periods of high stress. For this reason I help my clients to learn new ways of dealing with life stressors such as work stress, family or relationship issues. I will help you to understand the anxiety response, the roots of your anxiety, and teach you relaxation techniques that have been proven to help reduce / eliminate anxiety symptoms.

I focus primarily on a cognitive-behavioral approach. This style of therapy will help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are linked to the anxiety you are experiencing. I will help you identify how changes to your thought process can reduce the anxiety, avoidance and stress you are experiencing.
