Description Thank you for your interest in Sage Psychotherapy and Treatment Program. Robin Taylor Kirk, LMFT, Executive and Clinical Director and Jason Murphey, Psy.D., Program Director and their clinical staff are committed to understanding human behavior and assisting people in their efforts to let go of the struggles that impede health, happiness, and vitality in their lives.
Sage Psychotherapy and Treatment Program offers a cutting edge intensive treatment option for people with moderate to severe Anxiety Disorders, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), that combines exposure-based interventions with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT interventions are designed to help people learn ways to let go of the struggle with pain, be more mindful, get clarity on what really matters to them and have the freedom and psychological flexibility to live full, vibrant lives.
The Intensive Outpatient Program for Anxiety Disorders includes ACT-focused groups, individual counseling, and offers support and education for family members in addition to Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). The skills people learn through ACT interventions compliment the ERP process by making the exposure aspect of treatment easier and the results more generalizable. Offered three evenings a week, the intensive program is structured to accommodate people who work or attend school during the day.
In addition to the intensive program, the clinicians at Sage also help individuals, couples, and families to address a wide range of issues including:
